D-J-Qualls

Donald Joseph Qualls (also known as DJ Qualls) is a fashion actor and model hailing in the US. His fame was sparked by his performance on Road Trip. Since then, he has appeared in more than 20 films such like The New Guy Hustle & Flow or The Core. In addition, he has appeared on more than 22 television series such as Breaking Bad Supernatural Scrubs Lost Law & Order and others. As a survivor of Hodgkin's Lymphoma and diagnosed at the age of 14 Qualls is an avid fighter. After two years of treatment, the cancer is now in remission. But the treatment at such an early age had a severe effect on his body and thwarted his development. When he began acting, as if financial security was the ultimate goal since the experience of poverty was a constant throughout his early years. He commented, "I've been living so frugal for so many years that I'm in need of money security or else the world will feel out-of-control for me." He reflects on his childhood, and has the desire to act against bullies. He is a victim of cruelty and hurts him to the core. On and off the screen, DJ could like to play the role of a father. He admits that Directors do not cast me in those roles. It would be wonderful to be one day a parent himself, when the time comes when he can devote less time on career and dedicate it to his child.
